What We Do
MACH Strategic Priorities 2026-2029
Collective Advocacy and Mutual Support
MACH will strengthen its role as a collaborative forum for CHC leadership and staff to support one another and coordinate collective advocacy on shared issues. By building a stronger, more unified voice, MACH can ensure that member organizations are both proactive and responsive in advancing the needs of CHCs and the communities they serve.
Advance Health Equity through Reconciliation
MACH will advance health equity by deepening its commitment to reconciliation and by supporting member organizations to strengthen their own capacity to deliver culturally safe, inclusive, and equitable care. This work will emphasize dismantling systemic injustices while advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and addressing broader equity concerns across communities.
Strengthening and Promoting the Community Health Model
MACH will work to advance the visibility, recognition, and sustainability of the Community Health Centre model in Manitoba. By engaging with health system partners, funders, and stakeholders, MACH will demonstrate the unique contributions of CHCs and ensure their role as leaders in delivering community-driven, comprehensive health care.
